Activities are still being confirmed for the 16th Annual Induction Week events, below are just a few activities already planned. Watch the website for up to date listing of events around the Wichita Falls area, PWHF events and confirmed attendees to the Meet & Greet and Banquet! As of this announcement all but one living PWHF Inductee have been contacted about their Induction this May and the Board of Directors are working closely with all Hall of Famers and their families about their attendance during the Induction Activities.

Dick Raines was called “Dirty Dick” Raines because he had been disqualified “over a thousand times” in his career.

SPUTNIK MONROE

2017 Television Category Inductee
He was a headliner in many territories, and was best known in Memphis, Tennessee, where he and Billy Wicks set an attendance record that lasted until the Monday Night Wars boom period.

LUTHER LINDSAY

2017 Television Category Inductee
One of the first African American wrestlers to become a major star, he was extremely popular in the Pacific Northwest and Mid-Atlantic territory.

MICK FOLEY

2017 Modern Era Inductee
An American retired professional wrestler, writer, color commentator, actor and voice actor. He is currently signed to WWE, where he is the current on-screen general manager of Raw. Foley is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in the company's history.

SHAWN MICHAELS

2017 Modern Era Inductee
Michaels wrestled consistently for WWE, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), from 1988 until his first retirement in 1998. He held non-wrestling roles from 1998 to 2000 and resumed wrestling in 2002 until retiring ceremoniously in 2010.

She began wrestling at the age of 15 and was trained by The Fabulous Moolah. She was the frequent tag team partner of Sandy Parker, with whom she won the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)'s NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship.

TATSUMI FUJINAMI

2017 International Division Inductee
Japanese professional wrestler who is famous for his nickname as "The Dragon". He is credited for inventing the dragon sleeper and the dragon suplex. He is also the owner and founder of the Dradition wrestling promotion.

LARRY HENNIG & HARLEY RACE

2017 Tag Team Division Inductees
In Amarillo, Race met fellow up-and-coming wrestler Larry Hennig (later Larry "The Axe" Hennig and father of "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig). The two formed a tag team and moved to the American Wrestling Association (AWA).In the AWA, Race and Hennig branded themselves as "Handsome" Harley Race (which was actually a moniker given to him by fans in Japan) and "Pretty Boy" Larry Hennig, a cocky heel (villain) tag team with a penchant for breaking the rules to win matches.
Mark your calendars for May 18th - 20th, 2017 to join the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and the City of Wichita Falls in welcoming the 2017 Hall of Fame Class. This will be an amazing weekend filling with fun, friends, fans and Wrestling!
